![]() ![]() If you can’t change the EQ of the reverb signal, you can maybe boost the high end of the vocals before sending it through the reverb, and then use another EQ to bring them back down after the reverb. When using reverb on vocals, especially in cases like this where the vocals are very prominent and there’s not a lot for them to hide behind, I like to turn down the high end on the reverb specifically so you don’t have those crispy reverb sounds cutting through the mix Your pitch correction is very noticeable, I would increase the response time, I find around 70-80 is where it starts to become less noticeable with a decent performance, at least on logic with the built in pitch correction plugin (I can only assume they use the same one in garage band) I notice your compressor attack time is pretty fast, increasing it to 20+ will give your vocals more punch by letting the attack push through a bit more before compression kicks in, other than that it’s mostly gonna be your EQ, which I can’t help you much with here as I’m listening on my phone speakers hahaĮdit: after listening a bit more, a few more tips: But I hope this is somewhat helpful, seen some of your stuff and you're doing great!
